Liquid Architecture are proud to announce our co-presenting of the Spectral: Live event, to be held April 9. Curated by and held at Arts House, the event serves as the finale for the Spectral 2020 program, exploring the interstices of sound and vision.
House of Vnholy will present a work entitled SEER. Featuring a sound composition by Jannah Quill, featuring the voice of Judith Dodsworth, SEER will investigate rituals attached to death and dying.
Robert Curgenven and Kat McDowall will present a new work, AGENESIS, which explores our embodied response to sound with a focus on the aural, visual and physical.
Melbourne-based experimental pop musician Sui Zhen will perform her dream-like, ethereal songs, drawing from influences as broad as Sade and 1980s electronic music.

Also showing from April 2-9 as part of Spectral will be Shohei Fujimoto's series power of one, including the world premiere of #distortion, featuring lighting installations which dramatise the opposition of chaos and order. Additionally, Arts House will host Del Lumanta's Wallpaper III & IV, a site-specific work which explores the untapped potential of background music in our everyday environments.
