Ying-Li & Tarquin have chosen to interpret the idea of listening to plants in three different tiers. The work they are developing deals with espionage, the double talk of double agents, the safety benefits of paranoia, violence and hiding in plain sight. The work also deals with the sound of dangerous machinery. Finally the work explores the almost imperceptible growth of plants to the naked ear.
