Thanh Hằng Phạm
Thanh Hằng is a queer, second-gen Vietnamese- Other diaspora descendant. She draws on the bodily to visualize and give breathe to her writing and zine-making. Her work is engrossed in mental health, bodies, boundaries, Vietnamese diaspora, queerness, and water.
In 2014 she produced mình: a zine on Vietnamese queer embodiment. In February 2015, she produced Spectra: an anthology zine on mental health amongst People of Colour in Australia, which has been sold at Sticky Zine Fair, and Colourfest’s Migrating Minds Mental Health Forum.
Thanh Hằng is also a radio presenter for Queering the Air on 3CR Community Radio. In February 2015, she co-produced ‘We Weren’t Born Yesterday’ a radio series exploring queer heritage amongst migrant cultures. She has written for Peril and Hoax Zine and is currently working on the second edition to mình zine.
