Sound School

Sound School is an award-winning community project upskilling and celebrating marginalised voices in electronic music in Narrm region. Its busy program of free workshops features local artists as mentors, for both young people and artists of all ages. The program enables access to and demystification of skills like DJing, Ableton Live, sound engineering, circuit-bending, beat-making, soldering, live coding, synthesizers, and much more. It received the 2017 Music Victoria 'Best Avante Garde/Experimental' Award for its work.
