Aidyn Mouradov
Professor Aidyn Mouradov obtained his PhD in Organic chemistry at the Institute of Bioorganic Chemistry, Ukrainian Academy of Sciences. He is an expert in plant biotechnology and plant molecular biology. His research projects were reflected in over 80 peer-reviewed papers and in 28 patents and patent applications. He was awarded the Alexander von Humboldt and Max-Planck fellowships for research at the Max-Planck Institute for Molecular Plant Breeding, Cologne, Germany. Currently he is working at the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology, University (Melbourne, Australia) and his research area is related to the application of algae and aquatic plants for conversion of wastewater into clean water, energy and value-added products and use of microalgae for production of edible vaccines and recombinant proteins.
